Pro client self-service

A 3PL client portal for inventory, orders, and invoices

Storely's documented Pro client portal gives each client its own login and access to its own warehouse records. Clients can review inventory and submit work while warehouse staff manage operations in Storely.

Pre-launch. Storely is preparing for production launch. Discuss availability and requirements with us before planning a rollout. Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay integrations are planned and are not live yet.

What clients can do in the documented portal

  • Review inventory and expiry dates. View the client's own stock without exposing another client's records.
  • Submit expected inbounds. Provide details about incoming shipments for warehouse receiving.
  • Create outbound orders. Submit fulfillment requests directly through the client login.
  • Download monthly invoices. Access the invoices associated with that client's warehouse activity.

The products and client portal guide describes these workflows and the invitation process. Storely is pre-launch, so validate the required workflow and launch availability before providing production access.

Keep client access distinct from warehouse staff access

In the documented setup, warehouse staff accounts are managed from Users. Client Portal accounts are invited from the individual client record: open Clients, select the client, and use Add Portal User. The invitation email provides login instructions.

A portal login is scoped to that client's inventory and orders. That differs from warehouse roles such as Admin, Manager, or Warehouse, which support internal operations. Review who should have client access and who should work as warehouse staff before issuing invitations.

How a portal order reaches the warehouse workflow

A client-submitted order enters the warehouse's documented order process: Pending, Allocated, Picking, and Shipped. Warehouse staff handle inventory allocation and picking. A portal order is not the same as an automated marketplace import; Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay connections are not live yet.

See orders and fulfillment for the warehouse-side process and the 3PL WMS overview for the wider workflow.

Which planned plan includes the client portal?

The client portal is listed in Pro, planned at $1,599 per month with two warehouses and up to 1,000 clients. Pro also lists unlimited warehouse users and orders, advanced reporting and lot trace, API access and webhooks, and QuickBooks Online sync. Basic does not include client portal access.

Review planned pricing and add-ons and the billing workflow for invoices and charge timing.

Does every client need a portal login?

No. The documented workflow allows warehouse staff to enter shipment and order details on behalf of a client. A client who prefers to communicate those details by email does not need a portal login for the warehouse to manage its records.

What should we evaluate before inviting clients?

  • Which contacts may submit orders or view the client's inventory?
  • How will the warehouse review inbound submissions and outbound requests?
  • Which inventory, expiry, and invoice information should clients use in their day-to-day work?
  • Who will maintain portal users as client contacts change?

Read the Client Portal Terms of Use for the relationship between portal users, the warehouse, and Storely, and the Privacy Policy for information handling.
