Accounting integration

Connect 3PL billing to QuickBooks Online

Storely's documented Pro accounting workflow lets you push warehouse invoices to QuickBooks Online after configuring the connection and mappings. Keep warehouse charge calculation in Storely and use the invoice-push workflow for accounting handoff.

Pre-launch. Storely is preparing for production launch. Discuss availability and requirements with us before planning a rollout. Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay integrations are planned and are not live yet.

What the documented integration does

Storely calculates client warehouse charges from rate cards and produces invoices. With QuickBooks Online connected and enabled for the account, the Billing screen provides a Push to QuickBooks action for invoice rows. Clients map to QuickBooks Customers, and invoice line items map to your QuickBooks charge types.

This page describes invoice export to QuickBooks Online. It does not promise payment reconciliation, automatic two-way accounting synchronization, or support for QuickBooks Desktop.

Prepare the warehouse billing workflow first

  1. Set up each client's rate card. Include the storage, receiving, outbound, and special-handling charges you need.
  2. Review warehouse activity. Finalizing receiving or outbound records posts the relevant charges; storage is calculated monthly.
  3. Review generated invoices. Check the client and invoice details before accounting export.
  4. Configure QuickBooks Online. Connect the account under Settings and confirm customer and charge-type mappings.
  5. Push an invoice. Use the invoice's Push to QuickBooks action in Billing, then review the resulting accounting record.

See the billing and invoicing guide for the documented product workflow and 3PL billing overview for charge timing.

Which planned plan includes QuickBooks Online sync?

QuickBooks Online sync is listed as a Pro feature. Planned Pro pricing is $1,599 per month and includes two warehouses, up to 1,000 clients, unlimited warehouse users, and unlimited orders. Basic includes warehouse billing but does not include QuickBooks Online sync. Additional warehouse capacity and other modules have their own fees.

Review planned plans and pricing. Storely is pre-launch, so confirm account availability and the accounting workflow before planning a production connection.

Questions to resolve before connecting accounting

  • Which QuickBooks Online company should receive the warehouse invoices?
  • How should each Storely client map to an accounting customer?
  • Which charge types should receiving, storage, outbound, and special-handling lines use?
  • How will your team review exports, corrections, and invoices already present in accounting?
  • Do you need accounting workflows beyond invoice export, such as payments, taxes, credits, or reconciliation? Discuss those requirements explicitly.

Is this an ecommerce order integration?

No. QuickBooks invoice export is an accounting workflow. Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay order connections are separate integrations and are not live yet. See the warehouse management overview for current launch context and product fit.
